Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using VAULTA. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use VAULTA.

VAULTA is developed and provided by Martin Gábor ("we", "our", "us").

1. Use of the App

VAULTA is a personal file storage app. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use VAULTA for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or its encryption mechanisms
  • Use the app in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
  • Attempt to circumvent security features or access protections built into the app

2. Your Responsibility

Because VAULTA stores your files locally with end-to-end encryption, you are solely responsible for:

  • The passcode you set to lock your vault
  • The safekeeping of your recovery key — without it, encrypted data cannot be recovered by anyone, including us
  • Any content you import into the app
  • Maintaining access to the Apple ID associated with any in-app purchase

We have no ability to unlock your vault, recover lost passcodes, or restore encrypted data without a valid recovery key. We bear no liability for data loss resulting from a forgotten passcode or lost recovery key.

3. VAULTA PRO — Subscriptions and Purchases

VAULTA PRO unlocks premium features including encrypted iCloud backup and additional vault options. VAULTA PRO is available as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's App Store:

  • Weekly: $1.99 per week
  • Monthly: $5.99 per month
  • Yearly: $49.99 per year

All prices are in USD and subject to change without notice. We may run promotional prices for limited periods; price protection or retroactive discounts for previous purchases are not available.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no refund is issued for the remaining period of an active subscription.

For refund requests, contact Apple directly. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases.

4. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue VAULTA (or any feature of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via App Store update notes or within the app. Continued use of VAULTA after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and branding within VAULTA — excluding files you store — are the exclusive property of Martin Gábor. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the VAULTA name, logo, or brand assets. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of any part of the app is prohibited.

Any feedback or suggestions you provide are entirely voluntary. We may use such feedback without obligation or compensation to you.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

VAULTA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities. Your use of the app is at your sole risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Martin Gábor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of VAULTA.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Martin Gábor operates.
